2) Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)
Wat Arun looks great during the daytime, but looks absolutely beautiful at night from across the Chao Phraya River. This may be one of the most famous temples in Thailand based on the number of pictures and posters that you often see advertising Thailand tours.

This is arguably the most important site/attraction that you must see if you visit Bangkok. Not only was it the home for Thailand’s kings for over 150 years, it is also the location of the most sacred Buddhist temple in Thailand, Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha).
